Forced to abandonned a dying planet. A crew is fleeing on board of a prototype spaceship called John after the director of the project who uploaded his mind into the board computer.
Their last hope to save themselves and therefore humanity.
In this wandering through darkness, the whole crew lost his mind and killed each other or committed suicide.
But John is still conscious, floating.
He is forever dead in space.
